Getting Tellie on camera

All that matters is that Tellie's notch is on screen in your video, so viewers see it working.

  1. The easy way: point your phone at your Mac and record yourself using Tellie. The notch shows up on camera like anything else on the screen, nothing to switch on.
  2. Want a clean screen recording instead? Tellie hides from screen capture by default, so first open Settings → Privacy and turn on Make Tellie visible in recordings (this session).

Either way works. Just keep Tellie's UI on screen, that is the whole point of the video.

Questions

What if my video does not hit 10K?
Any genuine video made with Tellie earns 50% off Pro, views or not. Passing 10,000 real views is what upgrades that to a free Pro license.
What counts as a view?
Real, organic views anywhere you post: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, wherever your audience is. Paid or bot traffic does not count.
How do I claim?
Send us the public link. We look, and send your reward back, usually within a day: a 50%-off code, or a free Pro code once you pass 10,000 views.
Who wins the $100?
The most-watched video by the last day of the month, among those that cleared 10,000 real views, tops the leaderboard and earns $100, paid at the start of the next month. Then the board resets.
Tellie is invisible. How do I record it?
Filming your Mac with a phone shows the notch just fine, no setup needed. Only a direct screen recording needs the toggle: Settings, then Privacy, then "Make Tellie visible in recordings (this session)".
How does the 50% get paid?
Through our checkout partner, Lemon Squeezy. You get a personal link and a dashboard, and payouts run on their schedule.
Can I enter more than one video?
Yes. Every video is judged on its own, and there is no limit on how many codes you can earn.
Do I need a big following?
No. There is no minimum and no application. The view count does the deciding.
