Tellie Pro · The Mac teleprompter that listens
The audition. The pitch. The lecture. The call that decides the quarter. Other prompters might hear that you are talking. Tellie Pro knows what you said, keeps track of the points you came to make, and helps you nail every take, especially when you ad-lib.
Every download includes 10 days of Pro. No card, no sign-up. One-time purchase, no subscription, 14-day refund.
“It truly is a magnificent app.” Sprague Theobald, two-time Emmy-winning writer / producer
The words sit beside your camera, so you never look away to read.
Matches your spoken words in real time, in more than 40 languages.
Zero audio leaves your Mac. Invisible on every call.
Tellie doesn't just follow your script. It helps you deliver on what you came to say.
Stagehand is your silent partner that watches your take as you talk: must-cover sections check themselves off, key phrases count even when you go off script, and a gentle nudge arrives only when time is getting short. When you stop, you see what you actually covered.
Press play in Keynote. Your speaker notes are already up in the notch - hover to see them. Turn Voice Follow on, and as soon as you finish the last word in your speaker notes, your slide advances on its own. No clicker. No "next slide, please." No second monitor required.
See Presenter Magic →A couple of quiet marks tell Tellie what matters: ## ! for a must-cover section, and a > key: line under it for a phrase that credits it even when you go off-script. Works in Markdown, Word, and PDF. A plain text script behaves as usual. And now, jumping between sections (Tab, number keys, or the new pop-up navigator) is free for everyone.
Because Tellie listens to you, Tellie knows what you're doing, what you're saying; what you didn't say, what you're about to run out of time to say; and what you skipped. Tellie's got your back, unprompted.
Stagehand is part of Tellie Pro. One-time purchase, no subscription. 14-day refund, no questions asked.
Tellie Pro is the unprompted prompter that understands you.

Free Tellie is a working teleprompter: load a script, play, adjust speed and font size, mirror the text, all the basics. It is invisible to Zoom and screen recorders just like Pro, and you can push to the notch from any app, terminal, or AI agent for free.
Pro adds voice-follow scrolling in more than 40 languages and regional variants, Stagehand (must-cover marks that green your script, a private live coach, a warning before you run out of time, off-script credit, and a debrief of what you actually covered after every take, all unprompted), multi-script playlists, per-script settings memory, multi-take rewind, the resizable thin-strip prompter, global keyboard hotkeys, Presenter Magic (live Keynote speaker notes mirrored into the notch; works with Keynote 14 and the new Keynote 15), and Pulse Log (a private 30-day history of everything sent to the notch).
Yes. A Tellie Pro license is a single-user license that activates on up to three Macs at the same time. Use it on your MacBook, your Mac mini studio, and a backup machine.
If you ever need to deactivate a Mac (selling it, returning a work laptop), open Settings → Tellie Pro and click Deactivate on this Mac.
No. Tellie runs on any M-series Mac with macOS 14 or later. Without a notch (iMac, Mac mini, an external display) the prompter sits top-center just below the menu bar, with the same features.
After you buy, you will get an email from Lemon Squeezy with your license key (usually within seconds). Copy the key, open Tellie, click the menu bar icon → Settings → License tab. Paste your key into the License field and click Activate. Pro features unlock immediately; no restart needed.
Yes. Every Tellie 1.x update is free, forever. Sparkle auto-update inside Tellie installs them automatically.
If a future Tellie 2.x ever ships, it will be a separate purchase with a discount for existing Pro customers, but Tellie 1.x stays yours and stays updated for as long as Steve maintains it.
14 days, no questions asked. If Tellie Pro does not work for you, email steve@skytech.io within 14 days of purchase and we will refund your money in full through Lemon Squeezy. EU and UK customers also have the right of withdrawal required by local consumer law.
Yes. Buy a license normally, then email steve@skytech.io with the recipient's email address and we will reassign the license. We can also send gift codes for events, podcasts, and giveaways; reach out with the details.
Tellie is a tool you own, not a service you rent. There are no servers on our side that cost us money every month per user. The voice-follow recognition runs entirely on your Mac.
So we charge once, and the app is yours, the way Mac apps used to be.
No, with one small exception. The first activation requires an internet connection to verify your license with Lemon Squeezy. After that, Tellie caches your license locally and works fully offline.
About once a month, Tellie will quietly re-verify your license in the background if you happen to be online. Voice Follow itself never touches the internet; it runs on your Mac.
No. Everyone who was already using Tellie before it had a paid tier keeps every current and future Pro feature, free, forever. The app works this out for itself; there is nothing to claim and no license key to enter.
Open Settings and you will see your status listed as Early Adopter. Thank you for being an early supporter.
