For speakers

You have eighteen minutes.
Land the talk.

Tellie holds your talk in the notch where only you can see it, follows the words you actually say, and warns you by name about the point you have not made yet, while there is still time to make it. Any deck, or no deck at all.

10 days of Tellie Pro on the house. No card, no sign-up.

The speaker before you ran long.

You rehearsed twenty-five minutes. You have eighteen. And you are deciding what goes while you walk to the lectern with the clicker already in your hand. No deck helps with this. Tellie does.

It knows what you have not said yet

Mark the points the talk does not work without. When the clock turns against you, the question stops being "what do I cut" and becomes "what have I still got to land".

It defends your closer

Every good talk has an ending it cannot afford to lose. Mark it, and the warning fires while there is still time to get there, not while you are being played off.

Nobody in the room can see it

The window is hidden from screen capture by macOS itself, so it stays out of the projector, the recording and the stream. Nothing to switch on, and nothing to forget to switch off.

When you step down, an honest account

Which points you made, where you drifted, and your real pace against the slot. Useful the next time you give the same talk somewhere else.

Warned by name before you can be cut off.

Two marks and a number. minutes: 18 at the top and Tellie measures your real pace against the real slot, then warns you by name about the marked section still ahead. The two-minute guide has the rest.

Your deck

PowerPoint, Google Slides, a PDF, or nothing.

This half of Tellie does not touch your slides, so it does not care what they were made in. Paste your talk in, mark what matters, and advance your own slides the way you always have. Here is the line drawn plainly.

Google Slides runs in a browser, which puts its notes out of reach entirely. PowerPoint is a native Mac app, so that is work we have not done yet rather than a wall. Everything else on this page works the same on all four rows.

On Keynote? Then you get the version with no pasting at all: Presenter Magic mirrors your live Keynote speaker notes into the notch and changes them as you advance. See Presenter Magic.
