The app
How does Tellie follow my voice?
Voice Follow listens with Apple's on-device speech recognition and moves the words as you say them. Pause and it waits. Skip ahead or ad-lib and it finds your place. Voice Follow is part of Tellie Pro, and every download includes 10 days of it.
Do I need a Mac with a notch?
No. Tellie runs on any Apple silicon Mac with macOS 14 or later. Without a notch (an iMac, a Mac mini, an external display) it sits top-center, just below the menu bar, with the same features.
What files can I open?
Plain text, Markdown, Rich Text, Word, PDF, and Pages. Bold, italics, and headings come through, and headings become sections you can jump to.
Does it work in my language?
About 50 languages, and it adapts to your accent. Voice Follow runs on your Mac, so it works in the languages Apple ships an on-device model for.

How do I mark what matters?
Three small marks. ## starts a section, ##! marks one you must cover, and > key: a phrase is a point that checks itself off when you say it, in your own words.
What is Take Coach?
When you finish a take, Take Coach reviews it: what landed, and the one change that makes the next take better. Everything it writes stays on your Mac.

What's free, and what's Pro?
Free is a complete teleprompter: open a script, scroll it, stay invisible to recordings, and push to the notch from any app or agent. Pro adds Voice Follow, Stagehand, Take Coach, Presenter Magic, and Companion.
What happens after 10 days?
Tellie becomes Tellie Free. The Pro features switch off, nothing is deleted, and you can buy at any time to turn them back on.
How many Macs can I use it on?
One purchase covers 3 Macs. Activate each one with the same key from your purchase email.
Do I pay again for updates?
No. Every Tellie 1.x update is free, and installs itself. If Pro is not for you, email within 14 days for a full refund.
Privacy
Can people see it on Zoom?
No. Tellie's window is excluded from screen capture, so your script is invisible to Zoom, Meet, FaceTime, recordings, and screenshots. Want it visible for a demo? One toggle in Settings, for this session only.
Does my voice leave my Mac?
No. Speech recognition runs on your Mac, and Tellie never keeps what you say.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up for the 10 days of Pro, and nothing to cancel. Pro is a license key you paste into Settings.
